Product descriptions and images
We describe our screens, kits and hardware as accurately as we can, and we state the sizes, pack contents, materials, duty ratings and weight limits exactly as the manufacturer publishes them. Colors can appear differently on different screens, mesh shade varies slightly from one batch to the next, and a stated measurement can differ by a fraction of an inch from the item you receive, so small differences between an image or a stated measurement and the item you receive are normal and not a fault.
Fit and installation
Whether a screen, closer, pet door or frame kit suits your window or door depends on your opening, your frame and how it is fitted. Our fitting notes are general guidance, not a survey of your home. Measure before you order, follow the manufacturer's instructions, and if you are unsure about a load-bearing or structural fixing, ask a qualified tradesperson. A pet door is not a security device, and a screen keeps insects out but will not stop a determined animal or a person.
